Job summary

Gibbston Valley Lodge & Spa, part of Gibbston Valley Wines, invites applications for a Spa Therapist to deliver massage, beauty and relaxation treatments in a luxury vineyard setting near Central Otago.

You will work a rotating roster with weekends, provide guest-focused service, maintain spa operations, and promote services and retail. This role requires a massage qualification or 3+ years spa experience, and NZ working eligibility.

Qualifications

• A qualification in Massage Therapy (or equivalent), or minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a spa environment.
• A genuine passion for guest care, health, and holistic wellbeing.
• A calm, professional, and confident manner with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational ability and precise time management.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in beauty therapy treatments (advantageous, but not essential)
• Eligibility of work in New Zealand without any restrictions.
• Reliable transport to reach Gibbston Valley 25 mins from Queenstown CBD.

We are seeking a passionate Spa Therapist to join our Spa, proudly recognised as New Zealand's #1 Resort Spa, where luxury, wellness, and outstanding service come together.

About the role:

• Minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed on a rotating roster, including weekends from Monday - Sunday.
• Location: Gibbston Valley Wines - Otago, Gibbston
• $28.00 to $32.00 depending on the skills and experience

As a Spa Therapist, you’ll create calm, restorative experiences that leave guests feeling renewed and valued. Your key responsibilities will include:
