Job summary

Databricks in Auckland is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to champion the Data Intelligence Platform in complex customer engagements. You will work with Account Executives to design scalable analytics solutions and show how Databricks helps customers turn insights into action.

You will coach junior architects, influence C-level stakeholders, and lead proofs-of-concept across cloud providers, Spark, and data workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex customer engagements and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales role.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms and data analytics.
• Strong programming background in Python/Java/Scala.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer engagement strategies with Account Executives.
• Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization.
• Influence stakeholders through complex engagements with cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications.
• Be a 'champion' for customers and colleagues, acting as expert solution architect for data analytics.
• Contribute to technical collateral and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
