Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect in Auckland to engage with customers across the sales cycle, translating business needs into technical data solutions using the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

You will lead complex engagements, coach junior architects, and influence stakeholders from technical teams to C-level executives, helping customers adopt our platform and drive measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and sales cycles in a technical pre-sales capacity.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and executives by building relationships and leading teams.
• Hands-on coding experience in Python/Java/Scala; willingness to learn Spark.
• Experience with proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms.
• Ability to design technical solutions for complex customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer engagement strategies with Account Executives.
• Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization.
• Influence stakeholders with complex engagements across cloud ecosystems.
• Serve as trusted advisor for data analytics architecture and adoption of Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Create customer-facing collateral and lead workshops and meetups.
