Job summary

Momentum JobAdder is seeking a Solution Architect in Auckland to shape the technical vision for initiatives and align stakeholders. The role collaborates with project managers, platform owners, security and operations to surface trade-offs and land high level designs.

The suitable candidate has broad Microsoft ecosystem experience and familiarity with modern data platforms; quick onboarding is expected for a 6-month contract, with an ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Approximately five years of hands-on experience as a Solution Architect at senior/intermediate level.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra and Power Platform.
• Exposure to AI systems such as Copilot across integrations.
• Understanding of modern data environments (Snowflake/Databricks).
• Experience with code management tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Enterprise and AI-assisted coding tools.

This role calls for a Solution Architect to partner with project managers in shaping the technical vision for a range of initiatives, presenting options and surfacing trade-offs to help land high level designs. You will work across the organisation to build alignment on direction, close gaps in requirements, and keep platform owners, operations, security and support teams informed and on side. You will also support vendor side technical leads and architects, who typically carry delivery responsibility.

What you'll bring

• Around five years of experience as a Solution Architect, comfortable operating at an intermediate to senior level
• Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem, including 365, Entra and the Power Platform
• Exposure to AI systems such as Copilot across its various forms and integrations.
• An understanding of modern data environments such as Snowflake or Databricks would be well regarded
• Experience with software engineering tooling such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Enterprise, and setting up capabilities to manage, build and deploy code, would be an advantage, including exposure to AI assisted coding tools
• Strong communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to work confidently across technical and business stakeholders and support delivery partners toward good outcomes
