Job summary

Hirestaff is seeking a reliable Slitter Machine Operator for a busy East Tamaki packaging manufacturer. You will operate slitting machinery, support printing/packaging processes, and help ensure safe, efficient production to a high standard.

Hours are 6:00am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime on Saturdays. Temporary with potential for permanency; immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating slitting machinery.
• Experience with printing or packaging equipment is a plus.
• Physically fit and able to work in a production environment.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and good attention to detail.
• Own reliable transport to East Tamaki.

Responsibilities

• Operate slitting machinery to produce finished goods.
• Assist with setup and changeovers on packaging lines.
• Maintain safe working conditions and product quality.
• Work within a busy production team.
• Overtime available on Saturdays.

We are looking for a reliable Slitter Machine Operator to join a busy packaging manufacturer based in East Tamaki.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience operating slitting, rewinding, printing, packaging or other manufacturing machinery who is looking for stable, long-term work.

You will be working within an established production team, operating slitting machinery and helping ensure finished products are produced safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Hours are 6:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, with additional overtime available on Saturdays.

This is a temporary position with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person. We are looking for someone available to start immediately.

About you:

• Previous slitter machine experience highly advantageous
• Experience with printing, packaging or converting machinery also considered
• Mechanically minded and confident operating machinery
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Good attention to detail and quality
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a production environment
• Own reliable transport to East Tamaki
