Job summary

Remarkable People Limited is seeking a motivated Machine Operator in Christchurch for a 6‑month fixed term. The role runs 8AM–4PM, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, at Hornby location. Pay rate is $26.90 per hour including 8% holiday pay, plus overtime and shift allowances.

Candidates should have machine operation experience in manufacturing, with any printing/press background as a bonus. Own transport and a valid license are required, and there is potential for ongoing employment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with machine operation in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience with Printing/Press operation is advantageous.
• Not afraid to get hands dirty and learn quickly.
• Able to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.
• Team player willing to chip in where needed.
• Must pass a drug test and police check.
• Must have own car and a valid driver’s license.
• Available for potential ongoing long-term employment.

Exciting Machine Operator Opportunity in Christchurch

We are looking for a machine operator for a day shift offering a great work/life balance with some fantastic perks, with shift, meal & overtime allowances on offer! This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate! We are looking for someone to start IMMEDIATELY! This is a fixed term assignment for 6 months.

About This Role: Shift Time: 8AM - 4PM- Monday to Friday (Saturdays Occasionally). 6-month assignment, fixed term.
Location: Hornby
Pay rate: $26.90 (inclusive of 8% holiday pay) + overtime/double time allowances + shift & meal allowances

Role Requirements:

• Proven experience with machine operation in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience with Printing/Press operation is hugely advantageous
• Not afraid to get your hands dirty.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Be a team player willing to chip in and assist where the team requires.
• Mustbe able to pass a drug test & police check
