Job summary

NZ Labour Hire is assisting a Hastings manufacturing client to recruit Machine Operator Assistants. You will join a busy factory floor, with long hours on your feet and a strong emphasis on safety, quality and teamwork. The role requires proven factory experience, physical fitness, reliable work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 3.30pm. Permanent opportunities exist for the right candidates, with overtime rates and meal allowances.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a factory environment.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must have a clean criminal background.
• Please note: only NZ Citizens and Permanent Residents will be considered for this role.

Our client is one of New Zealand's leaders in the manufacturing of cardboard packaging solutions and we are on the lookout for Machine Operator Assistants for their Hastings based factory.

The role:

We are looking for Machine Operator Assistants for our Hastings based client, for these roles you will have proven factory experience, with good mechanical aptitude. A certain level of fitness is required as you will be on your feet for long periods at a time, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to work within a team environment.

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday - 7.00am - 3.30pm
