Job summary

Foleys in Canterbury seeks a skilled Plumber to join our trusted team. You will perform installations, maintenance, repairs and upgrades across commercial and residential projects, reading plans and ensuring work meets NZ regulations.

Work with an experienced team, support apprentices, maintain safety, communicate with project managers, and participate in on-call rosters if required. We offer ongoing training and a stable, long-standing company culture.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Plumber – Tradesman or Certifying.
• Proven plumbing experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret plans.
• Reliable, safety-focused and physically fit.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Comfortable using digital job management systems.
• Full NZ driver’s licence.
• Valid NZ work rights.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing installations, maintenance, repairs and upgrades.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all work meets NZ regulations and industry standards.
• Identify and resolve issues on site.
• Provide clear job updates to Project and Service Managers.
• Work collaboratively with apprentices and other trades.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and team members.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and professionalism.
• Participate in an on-call roster, if required.
