Job summary

Foleys is expanding its Timaru team and seeks an experienced Plumber to join a growing, supportive crew backed by a nationwide business. You'll perform plumbing, maintenance and repair work across residential, commercial and industrial sites, with a focus on safety and quality.

You’ll work with an experienced team, build strong customer relationships, and have opportunities to develop skills through varied work and ongoing training. A NZ Plumbing Licence and driver licence are required.

Qualifications

• NZ Plumbing Certification and Practising Licence current.
• Gasfitting and Drainlaying certification would be an advantage.
• Experience in plumbing and maintenance work.
• Strong practical trade skills and pride in workmanship.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• NZ Driver Licence required.
• Commitment to Health, Safety & Wellness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing, maintenance and repair work across residential, commercial and industrial sites.
• Complete work to a high standard, safely and in line with legislation and standards.
• Work with a supportive and experienced team, with backing from the wider Foleys business.
• Build strong relationships with customers and deliver a great customer experience.
• Identify additional work opportunities and communicate solutions to customers.
• Develop your skills and experience through varied work and ongoing training.
