Job summary

Foleys is expanding its Timaru team and seeks an experienced Plumber to join a growing, supportive crew backed by a nationwide business. You'll perform plumbing, maintenance and repair work across residential, commercial and industrial sites, with a focus on safety and quality.

You’ll work with an experienced team, build strong customer relationships, and have opportunities to develop skills through varied work and ongoing training. A NZ Plumbing Licence and driver licence are required.

Qualifications

• NZ Plumbing Certification and Practising Licence current.
• Gasfitting and Drainlaying certification would be an advantage.
• Experience in plumbing and maintenance work.
• Strong practical trade skills and pride in workmanship.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• NZ Driver Licence required.
• Commitment to Health, Safety & Wellness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing, maintenance and repair work across residential, commercial and industrial sites.

About the Role

As a Plumber with Foleys, you'll work across a variety of jobs and customers, with no two days necessarily the same. You'll:
Carry out plumbing, maintenance and repair work across a range of residential, commercial and industrial sites.

Complete work to a high standard, safely, efficiently and in line with relevant legislation and standards.

Work alongside a supportive and experienced team, with backing from the wider Foleys business.

Build strong relationships with customers and deliver a great customer experience.

Identify additional work opportunities and communicate solutions to customers.

Have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience through varied work and ongoing training.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Plumber who takes pride in their work, works well as part of a team and is keen to be part of a growing business.

You’ll have:

A current New Zealand Plumbing Certification and Practising Licence.

Gasfitting and Drainlaying certification would be an advantage.

Previous experience in plumbing and maintenance work.

Strong practical trade skills and pride in your workmanship.

Good communication and customer service skills.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A current New Zealand Driver Licence.

A strong commitment to Health, Safety & Wellness.
