Sika is seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician on a six-month fixed-term contract in New Zealand. You will support concrete testing, product development, quality control, and customer trial programs, reporting to the Laboratory Manager.

This hands-on role involves preparing test mixes, recording results, maintaining equipment, and contributing to health and safety. NZ citizenship/residency or valid work visa required; pre-employment drug test applies; salaries aligned to local benchmarks.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and batch concrete, mortar, grout, fibre, and admixture trial mixes.
• Conduct fresh concrete testing, including slump, flow, air content, density, temperature, and workability assessments.
• Prepare, cure, and test concrete specimens in accordance with relevant standards.
• Accurately record and report test results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and consumables.
• Assist with product evaluations, customer demonstrations, and technical investigations.
• Contribute to workplace health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
