The Department of Conservation in Tauranga is seeking a Site Support Officer (0.5 FTE) to provide essential administrative and site support, ensuring DOC facilities run smoothly, safely and efficiently. The salary range for this position is $65,590 to $76-589 (pro-rated) depending on skills and experience. Permanent, Part Time (20 hours per week) | Based in Tauranga

The Department of Conservation have recently made some big changes to help our people and operations work better together-so we can achieve the conservation outcomes we're aiming for. As a Site Support Officer, you will report to the Operations Advisor and play a key role in providing essential administrative and site support to ensure DOC facilities across the district run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a self-starter, enjoys taking initiative, and is comfortable adapting to new technologies and ways of working. You'll be supported by an experienced team who will provide on-site guidance and support as you establish yourself in the role. Initially, there will be a strong focus on setting up and refining site support processes, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys creating structure, solving problems, and finding practical ways to improve how things are done. This role is key to creating a safe, well-functioning environment so our team can focus on delivering conservation outcomes.
