Department of Conservation - Te Papa Atawhai (DOC) seeks an Auckland Inner Islands Site Support Officer to provide administration, facilities and fleet support across Hauturu, Kawau, Motuora, Tiritiri Matangi, Motutapu, Motuihe and Devonport.
The role is 0.5FTE, based in Auckland with day-to-day coordination across island sites, helping teams stay compliant and well-equipped to achieve conservation outcomes.

The Auckland Inner Islands Site Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the Hauraki Gulf Inner Islands team, providing essential administrative, logistical, property and fleet support across offices located on Hauturu, Kawau, Motuora. Tiritiri Matangi, and Motutapu Islands, Motuihe and Devonport. This is a unique opportunity to work across multiple island sites while supporting a diverse range of biodiversity, visitor, heritage and community programmes. You'll help keep our operations (property and fleet) running smoothly and safely, ensuring our teams have what they need to deliver meaningful conservation outcomes. This includes supporting day-to-day coordination across Hauraki Gulf Island sites and accommodation and managing practical fleet administration across multiple island locations.

The salary range for this position is $65,590 - $76,589 (pro-rata) with the starting salary of the successful applicant based on their relevant skills and experience. Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory – this includes holding a valid work visa that covers the whole period of employment.
