Job summary

Redpath Partners is seeking a capable construction professional to strengthen its project delivery team in Auckland. The role blends on-site delivery with exposure to engineering coordination, procurement and project management, ideal for someone aiming to broaden their experience beyond supervision.

You will monitor construction activities, coordinate subcontractors, review programmes, manage RFIs and technical documentation, and support quality, procurement and project handover.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in vertical construction projects
• Background as Site Manager or site-based role such as Site Engineer
• Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and resolve site issues
• Good attention to detail with an interest in technical documentation, QA and programming
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ideally a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction works and oversee site activity
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage RFIs and technical documentation
• Review short-term programmes and coordinate shop drawings
• Track procurement and support QA, inspections, ITPs and compliance
• Support project handover, defects, certification and handover workflows
• Provide progress reporting to the project team
