Job summary

Simplicity Living Limited is seeking an experienced Site Manager for our Queenstown project. This hands-on role will be your primary responsibility for a building, major work stage or zone within the wider development.

You’ll spend about 80% of your time on site, keeping trades flowing, planning ahead, and maintaining standards with support from the Project Manager. You’ll own programme progress, safety, quality and subcontractor relationships on your section, making practical decisions to keep

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience as a Site Manager or similar construction leadership role.
• Strong practical construction knowledge and ability to coordinate multiple trades and fronts.
• Good ability to read civil, services and structural drawings; organised with logistics and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Leading daily site activity and keeping work on programme
• Sequencing trades and tasks to minimise downtime and clashes
• Planning ahead so work areas, materials and resources are ready
• Building strong relationships with subcontractors and setting clear expectations
• Identifying risks, delays and inefficiencies early and resolving them
• Maintaining a safe, tidy and well-organised site
• Holding quality throughout the build, including QA checks and inspections
• Keeping site records, logistics and follow‑up organised
• Looking for better ways to work and carrying improvements into the next floor or stage
