Fixed-Term Contract | Commercial Interiors | Major Hastings Project | Immediate Start - September 2027
Are you an experienced Site Manager or Working Foreman who knows commercial interiors and fit-outs inside out?
We’re looking for a capable, hands-on Site Manager - Interiors to join the delivery team on a fixed-term basis for a significant three-level commercial fit-out project in Hastings. With the interior phase underway and services and finishing trades ramping up, this is an opportunity to step into a key site-based role and take ownership of the day-to-day coordination and delivery of the interiors.
This is not a desk-based Site Manager position. We’re looking for someone who is equally comfortable running subcontractors and coordinating trades as they are jumping on the tools when required to keep the programme moving.
This is a fixed-term position available for an immediate start through to project completion in September 2027, with the potential for further opportunities in Hawke’s Bay as the business continues to pursue work in the region.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of interior works across three levels of the project. Your time will be approximately 70% site and trade management and 30% hands‑on, depending on what is required on any given day.
Above all, we’re looking for someone who understands interiors, can run a floor effectively and doesn’t need to be micromanaged.
Typical site hours are 7.30am - 5.00pm, with overtime and some Saturday work required when the programme demands it, particularly as the project moves towards completion.
If you’re an experienced interiors or fit‑out professional who enjoys being on site, running trades and getting stuck in when required, we’d like to hear from you.
Whether you’re already based in Hawke’s Bay or would consider relocating for the duration of the project.
