The opportunity

AW Interiors are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our expanding team.This is a hands-on, varied role where you will lead site teams, coordinate trades, manage day-to-day site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on programme.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors
• Manage site safety, quality and programme
• Coordinate site activities and allocate work
• Provide trade guidance and hands-on carpentry
• Liaise with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, clients and key stakeholders

What you will bring

• 5+ years' experience in commercial interiors, fit-outs and refurbishment
• Proven Site Management experience in commercial construction
• Recognised NZ Carpentry or Building qualification
• Strong leadership, excellent communication and high organisational skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients, trades and project teams across all levels of a project
• Calm under pressure, with sound judgement and a practical, solutions-focused approach
• Positive, motivated and adaptable, with a strong work ethic and team-first attitude
• Current Site Safe, Height & Harness, MEWP, First Aid and Ramset certificates
