Job summary

ConsultANZ Civil Engineering, Construction, Surveying Recruitment seeks Site Engineers, Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers to join a major Data Centre development in the South Island, New Zealand. You will contribute to a multi-year, multibillion-dollar project from early stages.

Roles require civil engineering qualifications and hands-on site leadership across earthworks, drainage, pavements and foundations.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in civil construction across earthworks, roading, pavements, drainage, utilities, or foundations.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and site operations.
• Good communication and coordination skills with site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Willingness to relocate to Southland or work on a FIFO arrangement if based elsewhere in NZ.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee civil construction works across earthworks, pavements, drainage, utilities, and foundations.
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, costs, and programme requirements.
• Work closely with Project Managers and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.

ConsultANZ is looking for Site Engineers, Project Engineers, and Senior Project Engineers to join a major Data Centre development in South Island, NZ. The overall Data Centre development is anticipated to exceed multibillion, providing the opportunity to be involved in a significant long-term project.

• Major civil scopes including earthworks, pavements, drainage and foundation

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver and oversee civil construction works across earthworks, pavements, drainage, utilities, and foundations.
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, costs, and programme requirements.
• Work closely with Project Managers and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in civil construction, with experience across earthworks, roading, pavements, drainage, utilities, or foundations highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, engineering principles, and site operations.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Willingness to relocate to Southland or work on a FIFO arrangement if based elsewhere in New Zealand.
