Job summary

Stellar Recruitment Pty is seeking a Site Engineer to collaborate with Project Managers, Project Engineers and other Site Engineers to ensure safety, time, cost, quality and environmental standards are met across Canterbury projects. Travel across North to South Canterbury is expected.

You will participate in daily pre-start meetings, manage documentation, support on-site quality, perform inspections, audits, and progress monthly claims, while coordinating subcontractors and ensuring inductions

Qualifications

• MUST have a current NZ Drivers Licence.
• Diploma in Engineering required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual labour as required.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in, Daily Pre-Start Meetings
• Ensure all documentation is completed, including Daily Logs
• Work closely with Site Engineers, Project Engineers and Project Managers to support on-site quality
• Inspection & Testing
• Internal Project Auditing
• Sub-contractor Performance Reporting
• Preparing and managing the monthly claims for payment
• Managing variations, forecast reporting, and preparing a monthly accrual sheet
• Assist with surveying and site set out as per site drawings
• Foster healthy working relationships, both internal and external
• Liaise and coordinate subcontractors on assigned projects as required
• Ensure all personnel have been inducted to site when required
