Job summary

Macmahon Underground is returning to New Zealand and seeking a Site Administrator to join the Snowy River Gold Mine Project near Reefton on New Zealand’s South Island. You will support day-to-day administrative functions, ensuring efficient, compliant, and well-organised site operations.

Reporting to the site leadership team, you will coordinate rosters, onboarding, records, and procurement activities while maintaining strong safety and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Site Administrator role (preferably within the mining or relative industry).
• Advanced in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and service mindset.
• Clear communication and ability to work with different teams.
• Commitment to safety, respect and doing things the right way.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to site management and operational teams.
• Coordinate rosters, leave, travel, accommodation, and site access requirements.
• Support employee and contractor onboarding and mobilisation activities.
• Maintain accurate personnel, training, and site records.
• Perform data entry, document control, filing, and records management.
• Prepare and distribute reports, meeting minutes, and site documentation.
• Raise purchase requisitions, process goods receipts, and support procurement activities.
• Coordinate site communications, meetings, and site visits.
• Assist with timesheet processing, payroll administration, and workforce reporting.

About the Role

Macmahon Underground is returning to New Zealand and seeking a Site Administrator to join our team at the Snowy River Gold Mine Project near Reefton on New Zealand’s South Island. Reporting to the site leadership team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the project, ensuring efficient, compliant, and well-organised site operations.

What You’ll Bring

• Roster:Monday to Friday - 5 days on, 2 days off
• Transport: Drive in, drive out on a daily basis from the local region
