Job summary

Speedy Signs Whangarei is seeking a dedicated signage installer to join our small, busy team. You will install vehicle decals, window graphics and storefront signage across Northland.

We value careful craftsmanship, independence after training, and a current NZ driver’s licence. Experience with large format printing or 3M/Avery certifications are a bonus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years vinyl application experience or a trade background with transferable skills.
• Clean, precise, patient work—this job punishes rushing.
• Ability to problem-solve and work independently once trained.
• Current NZ driver’s licence.
• Legal eligibility to work in NZ.
• 3M/Avery or similar signage/wrap certification (bonus).
• Large format printing experience (bonus).
• Basic design skills in Adobe, CorelDRAW or Flexi (bonus).

About you

• 3+ years hands-on vinyl application experience, or a trade background with transferable skills (panelbeating, auto body, painting, detailing) and the drive to learn a new craft
• Clean, precise, patient work — this job punishes rushing
• Ability to problem-solve and work independently once trained
• Current NZ driver's licence
• Legal eligibility to work in NZ
• 3M/Avery or similar signage/wrap certification (bonus)
• Large format printing experience (bonus)

We're a small team so your work is visible and valued — no getting lost in a big shop. We run a well-equipped shop, including a laser cutter and a large Kongsberg X-Series table cutter, so you'll be working with proper gear, not making do. Real variety across signage, vehicle graphics and print, and room to build genuine specialist skills.
