Big Motoring World Group in Warrington is seeking a Technician to join our on-site team to perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on vehicles prior to sale, ensuring they meet quality standards before delivery.

Experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Junior Technician is preferred, along with Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification and a full UK driving licence. The role offers a busy workshop, training opportunities, and employee discounts.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections to a high standard and identify mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults to meet pre-sale standards.
• Identify and resolve electrical faults via systemic diagnostics.
• Utilise wiring diagrams to trace faults.
• Operate diagnostic instruments competently.
• Conduct basic coding and programming operations for electronic systems.
• Source manuals and software tools to support accurate diagnosis and repairs.

Job Type: Full-time (In person)

Pay: £28,800.00-£40,400.00 per year

Must have a valid, full UK licence (Essential)

About The Role

As a Technician in our Warrington Showroom, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our vehicles are in excellent condition and ready for collection by performing diagnostic assessments and repairs on vehicles prior to sale, ensuring they meet the required quality standards before reaching customers. The Technician will work within the On-Site Sales Technician team to identify and resolve issues accurately, contributing to efficient operations and high customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For
