Weare on the hunt for a couple of Shift Managers at our BK Restaurants in the Gisborne Region.
You must be able to work some night and weekend shifts!
Asa Shift Manager, you are responsible for:
- Thisis a hands-on position, you will also work to make and serve: big, bold,deliciousness (great burgers) to everyone.
- Supervisea small team of Fast Food workers (Cooks & Kitchen Hands) and support themto be successful by coaching, ensuring breaks are taken etc.
- Ensurethat all operational standards are met, including food safety, quality andcustomer measures.
- Problemsolve should issues arise and escal… e.g. if kitchenmachinery require repairing.
- Ensurethe Health & Safety of all employees.
- Assistswith Promoting Restaurant Profitability e.g. focus on costs and maximisingcustomer opportunities.
Whatwe offer you:
- Permanentemployment
- Salary: $59-62K gross per annum, depending on skills and experience.
- Guaranteedhours of 40 hours per week to be worked over any 5 days of the week, Monday toSunday.
- Hoursand days of work will depending on the rostered shifts you are assigned.
- Additionalhours, if agreed, are also paid (hours over 80 per fortnight)

Requirements:
- At least 1 years team management experience and overseeing the duties of Team Members in Fast Food or similar food, Hospitality or Retail environment.
- Exceptionalcommunication skills with the ability to create a positive culture and workingenvironment.
- Experience on how to on-board new employees and with staff training and motivation (advantage).
- Unpacking stock deliveries and inventory (involves heavy lifting).
