Job summary

Green Cross Health is seeking a Payments Specialist to join our Shared Services finance team. You’ll manage accounts payable and supplier payments across our NZ network, ensuring timely, accurate processing and clear supplier communication.

With 3–5 years in a large NZ business, you’ll be proficient in high-volume transactions, supplier reconciliations, and reporting. Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with Xero are desirable.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in a large complex NZ business.
• 3-5 years experience in an Accounts Payable or Payments role.
• Experience in high volume transactions.
• Experience with supplier reconciliations and payment runs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• System savvy - Intermediate Excel a must, previous use of Xero a bonus.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Payments Specialist to join our high performing finance team within our Shared Services function.

In joining our team you will play an important role in delivering accounts payable and payment services to our group of Unichem and Life Pharmacies across New Zealand.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

• Processing supplier invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner
• Preparing and completing regular payment runs
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate supplier records in accordance with policy
• Responding to queries from suppliers and other stakeholders
• Accurate completion of reporting as required
• Being proactive and thinking outside the box
• Actively contributing to our team culture and performance

This is a Permanent Full-time position working 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday.
