Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience in a team leader or supervisor role
• Hands-on and close to the team rather than purely strategic
• Strong communication skills and practical, solutions-focused mindset
• Confidence with day-to-day people matters and customer interactions
• Good organisation and time management in a fast-paced environment
• Genuine interest in developing people and building team culture
• Full Class 1 NZ driver’s licence with a clean record

• Lead a team of approximately 15 field technicians, providing day-to-day guidance and support

• Work closely with customers to ensure consistent, reliable service delivery

• Ensure health & safety standards are followed across all sites

We are looking for a practical and hands-on Local Service Team Leader to guide and support a team of Initial Hygiene Technicians across the Hamilton & Bay of Plenty regions.

This is a role focused on execution, people support, and service quality. It is well-suited for an early to mid-career leader who thrives on direct operational involvement. What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading a team of approximately 15 field technicians, providing day-to-day guidance and support
• Coaching and developing team members to improve performance and confidence

• Working closely with customers to ensure consistent, reliable service delivery
• Supporting scheduling, resource planning, and operational coordination
• Ensuring health & safety standards are followed across all sites

• Occasional travel to the Bay of Plenty regions may also be required (company vehicle provided)
