Job summary

Aryan Petroleum Limited in Rotorua is looking for two Service Station Attendants to join a fast-paced, friendly team as full-time employees. You will help customers, fuel vehicles, and keep the forecourt tidy.

You will work 30–35 hours per week with a weekly roster, including weekend shifts. Experience with coffee and basic food prep is a plus; training provided to develop service standards.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, friendly with a can-do attitude.
• Experience making coffee and simple food prep preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to clean, stock and serve at the point of sale.
• Gas station experience preferred but not required.
• Valid full driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Fill fuel tanks and containers to the level specified by the customer.
• Check and replenish air pressure in vehicle tyres, and oil and other vehicle fluids.
• Keep forecourt clear of rubbish, debris and hazards.
• Greet customers and assist with needs and queries politely and professionally.
• Be aware of current store promotions and inform customers accordingly.
• Professionally handle customer complaints and refer to the manager.
• Collect customer payments and provide a receipt upon request.
• Assist with preparing coffee and beverages, and basic food preparation and presentation.
• Activate fuel pumps for customers with care and discernment.
• Ensure forecourt bins are emptied daily and windscreen solution is changed daily.

We are looking for two enthusiastic and hardworking Service Station Attendants to join our team at our Gas Station as full-time employees in a fast-paced and fun team.

The Service Station Attendant is expected to work a minimum of 30 - 35 hours a week with a weekly payroll. Hours are rostered on a weekly basisand include weekend shifts.

Job Description:

• Filling fuel tanks and containers to the level specified by the customer.


• Checking and replenishing air pressure in vehicle tyres, and oil and other vehicle fluid levels.


• Always ensure the forecourt is clear of any rubbish, debris and potential hazards.


• Greeting and welcoming all customers, assisting with their needs and queries politely and professionally.


• Be aware of all current store promotions and specials, informing all customers accordingly.


• Professionally handling customer complaints and referring these to the manager accordingly.


• Collect customer payments and provide a receipt upon customer request.


• Assist with preparing coffee and beverages, and support basic food preparation and presentation to ensure quality service standards.


• Activate fuel pumps for customers' using careful discernment and discretion.


• Ensure forecourt bins are emptied daily and the windscreen solution is changed on a daily basis.

Job Requirements:

• Be outgoing, friendly and have a can-do attitude.


• Have prior experience with making great coffee, food preparation and presentation preferred but not compulsory.


• An ability to provide top class customer service.


• An ability to undertake cleaning activities, replenish and move stock and serve customers at the point of sale and all other work related to gas station.


• A real Team Member.


• Gas station experience is preferred but not compulsory.


• Valid driver full licence compulsary.


• Please ensure you provide your full availability for mornning, evening, night and weekend shifts monday to sunday.

All suitable candidates should be able to pass a drug test and a Ministry of Justice
check when required.
