Job summary

Manawatu & TRC Toyota in Whanganui seeks an experienced leader to take charge of the service department. You will lead a skilled team of technicians, apprentices and service advisers, supported by a strong leadership group and New Zealand's leading vehicle brand.

You will drive efficient operations, ensure superior customer experiences, and contribute to the growth of the workshop through effective budgeting and KPI management. This is a high-impact leadership role in a growing Toyota group.

Qualifications

• Strong automotive technical knowledge and leadership experience.
• Experience as a Senior Technician, Foreman or Service Manager.
• Proven leadership and people skills; focus on results.

Responsibilities

• Maximise daily workflow to keep operations organized and productive.
• Effectively manage booking and job allocation systems.
• Communicate clearly with front-line service advisors, customers and technicians.
• Ensure apprentices and technicians receive training and support to grow their skills.
• Collaborate with Parts and Sales to support a cohesive team.
• Ensure customers have an exceptional experience on every visit.
• Take accountability for service department budgets, profits and KPIs.

Manawatu & TRC Toyota is looking for our next Service Manager in Whanganui.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior Technician, Workshop Foreman or current Service Manager who is ready to lead a focused service department within one of New Zealand's progressive Toyota groups.

You’ll take the reins of an established team of skilled technicians, apprentices, and service advisors supported by a strong leadership team and the country's number one vehicle brand.
