Tiaki Wai, a council-owned organisation delivering drinking water, wastewater and stormwater services, is seeking a Senior Engineer Network Operations for a Petone-based role. You will monitor three waters networks in real time, analyze trends and incidents, and help shape future control and monitoring solutions to ensure safe, reliable service.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary engineering qualification.
• Full NZ Class 1 Driver's Licence.
• Proven experience monitoring water, wastewater and stormwater networks or similar critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, SCADA/telemetry and control systems.

Responsabilités

• Monitor real-time three waters performance using SCADA, telemetry and operational data.
• Analyse trends, incidents and system data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, reporting frameworks and operational KPIs.
• Advise on network performance and future upgrades.
• Lead technical decision-making during significant incidents and support rapid service recovery.
