Job summary

Tiaki Wai is seeking a senior engineer to ensure operation and management of three waters utilities. You will drive continuous improvement across reservoirs, pump stations and valve assets, while leading or supporting renewal projects and contractor management.

Ideal candidates will have an engineering degree and 8+ years’ experience, with SCADA/CAD skills, strong analytics, and the ability to work across the Wellington region with flexible WFH days.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• 8+ years’ three waters or process industry experience.
• SCADA and CAD proficiency; strong analytical skills.
• Experience leading asset programmes and projects; vendor management.
• CMRP, PMP or PRINCE2 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior engineering expertise for three waters utilities infrastructure.
• Lead/assist project renewal and upgrade works; manage contractors.
• Collaborate with internal teams on asset solutions and replacements.
• Support field crews; monitor workflows and analyze SCADA data.
