Job summary

Water Infrastructure Solutions Limited – Kapiti is seeking a Senior Water Engineer to lead delivery of water, wastewater and stormwater projects in New Zealand. You will guide project planning, engineering design, investigations and technical delivery, working with clients and teams to develop practical, sustainable solutions.

You will influence project outcomes, support chartership development, and contribute to a growing consultancy focused on resilient water infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in civil, Environmental or Water Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in water infrastructure design and delivery.
• Experience across water supply, wastewater, stormwater or the three waters projects.
• Knowledge of New Zealand standards, guidelines and council requirements.
• Experience using water modelling and design software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, construction monitoring, contract administration and work effectively within project teams.
• Chartered Engineer status or progress toward CPEng would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, specifications and technical documentation.
• Support project delivery from concept design through to construction.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, environmental and planning teams.

You will play a key role in the delivery of water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will lead and contribute to project planning, engineering design, investigations and technical delivery, working closely with clients and project teams to develop practical, cost-effective and sustainable solutions.
