Job summary

SkyCity in Auckland’s CBD is seeking a senior waiter to deliver top-tier food and beverage service. The role covers designated sections, coaching junior staff, and ensuring a superior guest experience.

This senior waiter role is based in Auckland’s busy CBD and will offer a minimum of 8 hours per week paying $29.00 - $32.00 per hour dependant on experience. You will be responsible for delivering high quality food and beverage services to customers through the use of excellent guest service practices and the delivery of efficient and timely food and beverage services, providing an overall excellent experience to restaurant patronage. You will also oversee designated sections during shifts, providing on-the-floor coaching as needed and supporting new wait staff in delivering quality guest service.

You will have at least 2 years hospitality experience and 1 year waiter or a la carte experience, good knowledge of wine and be able to confidently pair food and wine and excellent communication skills.
