Job summary

The Grill in Auckland, part of SkyCity, is seeking an experienced chef to lead kitchen operations in a busy, hospitality-focused environment. You will deliver premium Kiwi dishes using local ingredients and manage a team to maintain high standards.

You bring 3–5 years of chef experience, NZQA Level 5 cookery, and strong stock control; you thrive on teamwork, fast pace, and customer-focused service. SkyCity offers staff meals, medical insurance, parking, and generous restaurant discounts.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of proven chef experience.
• NZQA Level 5 qualification in cookery (or equivalent).
• Basic food hygiene certification.
• Ability to manage an outlet in a senior chef's absence.
• Stock management and rotation expertise.
