Job summary

SkyCity Auckland is seeking a Reservations Agent to join our fast-paced hospitality team. You will handle reservations for our 4.5- and 5-star hotels, manage restaurant bookings, and answer general queries about SkyCity NZ and Adelaide.

The role operates on a 24/7 roster with 4 nights on and 3 nights off, 10-hour shifts starting at 4pm or 9pm. Previous hotel/reservations or sales experience and OPERA PMS knowledge are essential.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a close-knit team.

The ReservationsAgent role is a great opportunity for someone with hotel or travel reservations experience to join our fast passed evolving team. As a member of the Reservations team, you'll be responsible for handing all reservations for our 4.5- and 5-star hotels, restaurant bookings, and handling general queries about SkyCity NZ and Adelaide.

The Reservations team operate on a 24/7 rostered basis and as such we are looking for someone to work nights on a rotating basis - 4 nights on and 3 nights off, 10 hour shifts starting at either 4pm or 9pm

• You'll need to have a strong customer service ethic and a first-class telephone manner.
• Previous experience in a hotel/Reservations or sales environment is essential and knowledge of OPERA PMS system required.
• You'll also have superb communication skills and the ability to work in a close-knit team, be enthusiastic and have plenty of energy.
• You will be flexible to work on a 24/7 rostered basis
