Job summary

The Warehouse Group is seeking a creative and commercially minded Visual Merchandise Team Member to help us bring Warehouse Country to life across New Zealand. Working with Buying, Marketing and Store Operations, you’ll transform buying strategies into engaging in-store experiences that inspire customers and support our stores.

In this role you’ll develop visual merchandising guidelines, create inspiring content for stores and help deliver seasonal campaigns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in visual merchandising, ideally within a large format retail environment.
• A strong eye for design, presentation and spatial planning.
• Confidence creating clear and engaging visual merchandising guides and resources.
• Technical capability in either Adobe Creative Suite and/or SketchUp.
• The ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A customer-first mindset and a passion for creating inspiring retail experiences.

Responsibilities

• Creating visual merchandising guidelines and display principles for your assigned category.
• Developing VM guides, inspiration packs and department handbooks for stores.
• Supporting stores with category resets, shape changes, seasonal transitions and promotional displays.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to bring promotional and seasonal campaigns to life.
• Building store capability through clear communication, guidance and support.
• Gathering feedback from stores to continuously improve execution.
• Staying on top of local and global retail trends and introducing fresh ideas and concepts.
