Job summary

Tiaki Wai in Petone, Wellington region, seeks a senior engineer to deliver expert management of three waters utilities assets, driving continuous improvement and asset renewal across reservoirs, pump stations and pressure control valve assets.

With 8+ years in mechanical/electrical engineering and SCADA/CAD proficiency, you will lead projects, manage contractors, and collaborate with Land Development, Engineering Solutions & Investment, and Asset Management teams to deliver reliable services for

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering with 8+ years in the three waters or process industry.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to scope utility asset solutions.
• Experience leading asset programmes and projects with vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support minor utility renewal and upgrade works.
• Manage internal and external contractors and oversee projects.
• Support field crews to investigate faults and deliver services.
• Monitor SCADA data and improve network performance.
