Qualifications

• Extensive deep tunnelling and geotechnical engineering experience on major infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability in design review, technical assurance, and interpreting complex geotechnical data.
• Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; postgraduate qualifications preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead geotechnical and tunnelling design review activities on behalf of the Owner’s Engineer team.
• Provide technical oversight on deep tunnel alignment, excavation methods, ground behaviour, support systems, and construction sequencing.
• Review and challenge contractor submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety standards.
• Identify and manage geotechnical and tunnelling risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, client representatives, and contractors.
• Mentor junior engineers within the consultancy team.
• Attend site inspections, technical workshops, and progress review meetings.
