Job summary

Delve Underground is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join the Auckland team. You will provide design and consulting on underground projects in New Zealand and Australia, applying geotechnical analysis and reporting to support infrastructure development.

Candidates should have 2–5 years of geotechnical experience, familiarity with Plaxis/FLAC/UDEC/Rocscience, and knowledge of AS5100/AS/NZS 1170. A CPEng is desirable, and the role offers a growth-oriented environment with a focus on work-life

Qualifications

2–5 years of geotechnical engineering design experience.
Experience in numerical analysis and geotechnical software.
Familiarity with AS5100 and AS/NZS 1170 standards.
Willingness to expand knowledge across disciplines and field practices.
CPEng is desirable

Responsibilities

Undertake geotechnical analyses for tunnels, shafts, foundations and related works.
Characterise soil and rock parameters from site data.
Coordinate with other disciplines and prepare deliverables.
Prepare technical reports outlining design basis and solutions.
Follow QAQC protocols and support client submissions.
Attend meetings and coordinate site visits and stakeholder interactions.
Conduct fieldwork and site investigations
