Job summary

Archway Recruitment is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Auckland to lead geotechnical investigations, provide design solutions, and deliver expert advice across diverse projects.

You will oversee site investigations, foundation design, earthworks assessments, slope stability studies and construction monitoring, while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of geotechnical engineering consultancy experience
• Strong background in site investigations, foundation design and earthworks
• Experience on land development, commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects is valued

The Job on Offer

Due to continued growth, I am looking to talk with a Senior Geotechnical Engineer who have experience of leading geotechnical investigations, provide design solutions and deliver expert advice across a diverse range of projects. You'll oversee projects from initial site investigations through to detailed design and construction support. The role involves geotechnical reporting, foundation design, retaining wall and earthworks assessments, slope stability investigations and construction monitoring. You'll also work closely with clients, contractors and project teams while helping to mentor and develop junior engineers.

Experience You'll Require

You’ll ideally have 8+ years of geotechnical engineering consultancy experience and a strong background in site investigations, foundation design, earthworks, retaining structures and slope stability assessments. Experience working on land development, commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
