Vista is a world-leading software company in the cinema industry, founded in Auckland, New Zealand, over 25 years ago. We are seeking a senior Test Engineer to join our Platform team, focusing on Service Experience and modern frontend, backend and cloud environments.

You will ensure testing deliverables are effective, assist in the System Test strategy, and collaborate with a dynamic team to test backend and frontend applications while aligning automation with our CI/CD strategy.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of black box testing, white box testing, and test automation.
• Proven development experience with programming languages and concepts (C#, PowerShell script).
• Proven experience delivering complex automated test solutions to budget, time, and quality requirements.
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment across multiple environments.
• Familiarity with networks, performance, and secure software coding practices.
• Experience with open source and commercial test automation technologies (SpecFlow, JMeter, Selenium, Postman) across modern front-end, back-end, and Cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure testing deliverables are effective and measurable for efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of the System Test strategy.
• Work closely with a dynamic and collaborative team.
• Test backend and frontend applications.
• Ensure System Test Frameworks are fit for purpose, efficient, scalable, and maintainable and align with CI/CD.
• Ensure automation code is production-grade for reusability and standardisation.
• Set up performance testing scenarios to simulate loads for concurrent users.
