Job summary

IPT Associates (IPTA) is seeking a highly capable QA/Test Engineer to join our government-focused team. You will lead manual and automated testing efforts across functional, regression, security, and performance areas, reporting to the Government Test Manager.

You will design and maintain reusable automated test scripts for API, functional, and database testing, and manage the full defect lifecycle with developers to verify fixes; RMF artifacts will be supplied upon request.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Five years of prior testing or QA experience.
• DoD 8570 Level II/III certification.
• Active security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and execute all manual and automated testing efforts, including functional, regression, security, and performance testing, providing status to the Government Test Manager.
• Design, develop, and maintain a suite of robust and reusable automated test scripts for functional, regression, API, and database testing.
• Create and maintain detailed, step-by-step manual test cases in the government-approved test management tool.
• Manage the full defect lifecycle, including clear documentation in the government-approved tracking system, direct collaboration with developers to troubleshoot, and verification of all bug fixes.
• Support all RMF activities by providing testing evidence, reports, and other related artifacts upon request.
