Placements24 in Queenstown is seeking a highly experienced Senior Telecoms Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support for complex telecom systems, acting as an escalation point for challenging network issues.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve VoIP, SIP, MPLS, Ethernet, and wireless problems, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with engineering teams. This role offers hybrid work and opportunities for professional growth and industry certifications.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, CS or related field.
Minimum 5 years in advanced technical support for telecom networks.
Expertise in VoIP, SIP, MPLS, Ethernet, and wireless tech.
Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilidades

Provide expert-level technical support for telecommunications systems and network issues.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve VoIP, SIP, MPLS, Ethernet, and wireless problems.
Act as escalation point for junior staff, providing guidance and mentoring.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
