Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee major telecommunications deployments from initiation to completion in Queenstown. You will plan, execute, and finalize projects on time and within budget, coordinating internal teams and third-party contractors.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in telecom project management, proven leadership, strong stakeholder management, and proficiency with MS Project or Primavera.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business or related field; PMP preferred.
• 8+ years of project management experience, especially telecom projects.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure (fiber, towers, network upgrades).

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with senior management.
• Develop project plans with timelines, resources, and budget.
• Communicate expectations to team and stakeholders clearly and timely.
• Liaise with stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve goals.
• Draft and submit budget proposals and adjust as needed.
• Delegate tasks to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and manage project risks and contingency plans.
• Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of milestones.
