Job summary
The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) is hiring a Senior Technology Resilience Advisor in Wellington or Auckland to strengthen our technology resilience across critical services. You will lead the resilience framework, advise on disaster recovery, and work with technology and business teams to embed resilience-by-design in major initiatives.

Qualifications
- Significant experience in technology resilience, ITSCM, disaster recovery, business continuity or operational resilience.
- Strong knowledge of resilience frameworks and industry standards such as ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ITIL, BCI GPG or CIMS.
- Experience leading recovery planning, exercises, testing and assurance activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of MSD's technology resilience framework, policies and standards.
- Provide expert advice on technology resilience, disaster recovery, operational preparedness and risk management.
- Support criticality assessments and facilitate recovery planning, testing and simulation exercises.
- Embed resilience-by-design into strategy, programmes and processes with technology and business teams.
- Report insights and recommendations to support governance and informed decision-making.
