We are seeking a senior and experienced person to take charge of documentation outputs on commercial projects.

About the role
You will be involved throughout several specialised projects across various sectors. Your role will see you involved throughout all project stages from client engagement through design, documentation and construction. You will liaise directly with clients and the rest of the DCA team including directors and partners with ample opportunity to take ownership of projects and deliver them from start to finish. You will coordinate team members and contractors to deliver a transformational result. You will be involved in template and internal processes and systems development. You will be required to be an excellent teacher and share your knowledge and experience with all other team members.
Key responsibilities
Lead documentation outputs on commercial projects
Liaise directly with clients and the DCA team including directors and partners
Coordinate team members and contractors to deliver project results
Develop and implement QA and office standards
Develop and lead a dynamic team's documentation outputs
Involve in template and internal processes and systems development
Share knowledge and experience with all team members
Seek perfection through processes that eliminate or dramatically remove errors in documentation and coordination
Perform under pressure to meet project deadlines
About you
Proficient with ArchiCAD or REVIT
Strong communication and mentoring skills
Willingness to learn and hunger for success
Experience with the NZBC and NZS3604
Ability to lead a dynamic team's documentation outputs
Minimum 10 years senior NZ practice experience leading teams in the delivery of complex project documentation and practice wide quality assurance
Strong project and construction management experience
Ability to handle negative feedback, open to receiving criticism and turning these into learning and growth opportunities
NZ work visa or permanent residency required
Strong leadership and strategic plan through our board, directors and senior management
