Share is a venture-backed company building the marketplace for bandwidth and connecting carriers, ISPs, data centers and buyers. We seek a Senior Systems Engineer to own the core infrastructure—production Linux, virtualization, and security—operating at carrier-grade scale in a cloud-first stack.

You will drive real security boundaries, collaborate with networking, and apply AI-native tools to optimize operations and delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional systems engineering experience.
• Deep Linux administration at scale.
• Hands-on virtualization with VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V.
• Security perimeter ownership including firewalls and IDS.
• Strong networking fundamentals (routing, switching, DNS, load balancing).
• Experience with at least one hyperscaler (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Kubernetes exposure and operational experience.

Responsibilities

• Own production Linux and virtualization infrastructure.
• Harden security perimeter and maintain ongoing monitoring.
• Collaborate with network team on routing, switching, and load balancing.
• Operate cloud platforms in production and integrate AI-native tooling.
• Drive end-to-end ownership from problem framing to production delivery.
