Job summary

EROAD is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to manage and evolve our SaaS platforms used by fleet operators globally. You will work hands-on with large-scale, distributed systems and drive reliability improvements while mentoring teammates in a self-managed Agile team.

Ideal candidates have deep Kubernetes production experience, cloud expertise (Azure or AWS), IaC tooling with Terraform, and strong scripting skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes at scale.
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tooling.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or Concourse.
• Scripting ability in Ruby, Bash or Python.
• Exposure to monitoring/observability tools like Grafana, Sumo Logic or Datadog.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support production environments as part of an on-call roster.
• Drive RCA and implement lasting fixes to improve reliability.
• Build automation to reduce manual toil and improve reliability.
• Improve monitoring and observability across the platform.
• Identify cost optimisation opportunities across infrastructure.
• Mentor teammates and uplift the SRE practice.
• Work in an autonomous, self-managed platform team aligned to a SaaS ecosystem.
