Job summary

ASB Bank is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for its Data & Analytics Platform. You will modernise and automate infrastructure, focusing on Ansible-driven automation across Windows and Linux environments to reduce manual work and improve reliability.

The role sits within ASB's Data & Analytics Platform, supporting enterprise-scale data ingestion, reporting and analytics. You will contribute to patching, upgrades, automation, observability and cloud-enabled migrations.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with automation of infrastructure and platform operations.
• Experience managing Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience building automation solutions in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automation solutions for platform operations.
• Develop and implement Ansible automation across Windows and Linux.
• Automate patching, upgrades and operational workflows to improve reliability.
• Support management and optimisation of data and analytics platforms.
• Improve processes by reducing manual intervention through automation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using GitHub.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and operational issues.
• Develop monitoring and observability capabilities.
