Job summary

ASB Bank is seeking a Software Specialist to join the Core Integration squad, focusing on API platforms that underpin critical services across the bank. You will work across platform engineering, automation, and production support to keep APIs secure, reliable and performant.

You'll contribute across the full platform lifecycle, including API development, CI/CD automation, observability and server management.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with C# and modern .NET development.
• Experience developing and supporting API-based solutions.
• Proven DevOps experience including CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Strong PowerShell scripting capability.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps, GitHub or similar source control platforms.
• Experience supporting production systems and operational environments.
• Experience creating or maintaining monitoring and observability solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain APIs using C# and .NET technologies.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Create automation solutions using PowerShell and related tooling.
• Develop and maintain observability dashboards and monitoring solutions.
• Support server administration, patching and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Investigate and resolve production issues across the API platform.
• Improve platform reliability, performance and operational efficiency.
• Support middleware and BizTalk services where required.
• Contribute to platform upgrades, enhancements and maintenance activities.
• Participate in an on-call support roster once fully established in the role
