Job summary

EY Wellington seeks a Senior Manager to design and build cloud data and AI solutions using Snowflake. You will lead data ingestion, modeling and integration, mentor junior engineers, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data platforms.

Preferred location is Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) with the possibility to consider Auckland or Christchurch office locations. Roles may be adjusted to flexibly reduce hours, and you will shape data strategy within EY's global network.

Qualifications

• A working knowledge of Snowflake Horizon Catalog.
• Proficiency with development languages such as Python, Java, and Scala.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data challenges.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a passion for leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
• Experience in technical leadership or mentorship roles, guiding junior team members towards success.
