Job summary

Join Deloitte NZ as a Snowflake Data Engineer within our AI & Data team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions on Snowflake using modern data engineering tools and AI-assisted practices.

You’ll work across ingestion, transformation, modelling, automation, deployment, and production support, implementing RBAC, security, and governance while optimizing performance and cost. We value an AI-enabled mindset, using tools like CoCo and GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery,

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and SQL.
• Experience designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Understanding of data warehousing, modelling, and modern data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions on Snowflake.
• Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.
• Develop high-quality SQL-based transformations and engineering frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices for Snowflake deployments.
